Quieter and soft-spoken, especially compared to their sister. They've spent most of their life inside and found comfort in getting lost in a book or learning more about a world they'd never truly get to explore due to their poor immune system and other unknown health issues. They've got a fire to them though, a burning passion to learn and to push back to gain back automony they've lost.

They're a big fan of the cottagecore meets academia aesthetic. They love nature, books, and studying.

Aspen is a quiet and curious kid, the opposite of their sister. They were stuck inside often from sickness so they escaped into any books they could get their hands on. Juniper— and Cyrus occasionally— provided a steady flow of book from their own collections or the nearby library. They read all different genres of books and enjoyed thriller and the occasionally romance genre the most. They love and appreciate both Juniper and Cyrus but they couldn't help resent Cyrus and themself when Juniper came home, teary-eyed and quiet. Aspen could put the pieces together, there's only two people that could make her cry like that and one of them was themself. They’ve heard of Cyrus’ dreams of leaving in passing and even if Juniper wont admit it, Aspen knew they were holding her back from her dreams of leaving with Cyrus. They drowned their guilt and self loathing by reading more.

Their mom was rarely home and might as well have not lived there so Juniper took up the task of taking care of the two of them. Aspen got sick a lot and Juniper dedicated her a lot of her time to taking care of them and learning how to be a cleric of life to hopefully cure them permanently or at least make it more manageable. Sometimes Cyrus would come over and help in anyway he could. Juniper spent star’s free time with Cyrus or studying.
