A new villain is on the loose, leaving behind rotting bodies in their wake. They haven't had a villain this dangerous since the oathbreaker. They've nicknamed them 'The Black Plague' due to their unique ability to rot bodies just by being near them, slowly killing them. Cyrus was just a scared kid with no home he could return to, not if he wanted to keep them safe. And for the love of the gods, he just wanted a hug.

Cyrus developed powers early, at the bright age of 16. Most people grew into their powers by their early 20s but Cyrus was different. Some would call him special, he'd call it cursed. His power cause bodies to rot around him and it was honestly the worst power he's ever heard of. He left as soon as he found out. He couldn't do that to his parents no matter how much he didn't like them. Now he lives on the run, trying to find a way to survive without killing half the city. He resorted to stealing to avoid checkout clerks, he sleeps anywhere semi-decent he could find to avoid hurting neighbors or a landlord. Then a hero starts sniffing after him and he's honestly so sick and tired of running.

Juniper is an assistant to [ruby] and [mason]. They get hurt on missions often and were assigned a healer to help on the job; and she's good at what she does. However the new string of attacks have her constantly on edge of this mysterious new villain. There was no rhyme or reason to the attacks and it bothered her for some reason. Something was wrong with the situation and by-gods she was going to figure it out.
