Cyrus ran away and didn’t look back. Juniper was pissed but eventually moved on with her life. That is until Cyrus begs Juniper to borrow her car saying that he needs to get away, he looks so rough and disheveled. She can't help but take pity on him and agrees but only if she can join him, it is her car after all. The two go on an adventure that'll change their relationship (for better or for worse)

Cyrus is a kid from the town of Grim's Maw. He worked a boring, dead-end job at his parents flower shop and he was honestly ready to run away and never be found again. Then his parents died... Then he had to plan the funeral, and get their arrangements and order, and then he ever regretted thinking about leaving. Now he has nothing holding him back from leaving besides one thing, or more like one person.

Juniper just wanted to finish med school and live a normal life. She didn't want fame, money, power, anything really but peace and quiet. She already had a lot on her plate worrying about Aspen's trips in and out of the hospital and that was plenty to stress her out 24/7. Then she met Cyrus, and her life got better, then worse, then better again. Then they had an argument, Cyrus wanted to leave and Juniper wanted to stay. Cyrus went off the radar after that and Juniper assumed he really did go through with his plan to run away, until a few months later when he's standing soaking wet on her doorstep.

Grim's Maw is a small, peaceful town. It doesn't have a lot of people and has even fewer stores and places of interest but many call it home. It has a small town charm to it and a quiet atmosphere that just doesn't exist in bigger towns or cities. Cyrus' parents ran a store called 'Oleander Blooms', a flower shop on the corner of the main street.
