Omne
Omne is the creator of the universe and has exisited before time itself. It created the gods, the planets, the people, and the monsters that lurk. Some monsters however, got too powerful and strayed from Omne's balance so Omne created a place to send these creatures, the Trench. It is located under the Etheral Floor, the bottom of the Universe.
The Trench
The Trench is located under the universe, shunned and cast aside by its Creator. It is the home of everything corrupt and wrong. Not many have survived going down there and there is only two known records of it; Saturn and Mercury. There are some religions that have practices that go inside Abyssal vents but they never go any further.
Omnipity
The first Omne-based religion. This religion sees Omne as a flawed being but aren't we all. They believe if they work hard enough and dedicate themselves to the universe, they'll be blessed with luck, safety, and good health. The goal is never to be perfect but to constantly improve; If your not improving yourself or the world then your not good enough. They also tend to take in bad people and try (and sometimes succeed) to convert and redeem them, turn them into better people. This comes with its own set of problems including bringing arguably dangerous people into their community.
Omnisim
The other religion that worships Omne. This religion is known for its strictness in its practices but not in its interpretation of the source text. They view Omne as a perfect being that is doing whatever is necessary for the good of humanity. They believe Omne could never hurt them if they fully devote their lives to it. They're know to be a lot more intense then Omnipity; more of a negative, bleak, and fearful view on the world. Omnisim is also known to use a lots of fear mongering tactics. They believe if u don't agree with their views, only bad things will ever come your way.
After Saturn's rise, the people of Omnisim became a lot more intense in their worship; saying this was their punishment for any misdeeds humanity may have caused. However they exempt themselves from being part of the problem.
Sanity
An offshoot of the religions worshiping Omne but instead they worship the Abyssal Trench. They believe it is an all powerful being that was pushed down and away unfairly. Its followers are typically "underdogs" or people put down or pushed away their whole life and found comfort in a figure that was like them. They see Saturn as their messiah but Saturn hates it and thinks it’s they're creepy.
Purity
Follows of Purity are a mix of previous sanity and omnisim followers that got a too obsessive with their beliefs. They think they should get rid of the entire universe and start from scratch. Believing if they kill everyone and everything, Omne will bless them with a fresh beginning that’ll be better then the Trench-tainted universe they live in now. They're known as a group of extremists that have less then ideal means of fulfilling their beliefs and ideologies. they're ideas are not popular and are shunned from most circles, including Sanity.
